Having observed Dennis and Frank instructing young student-athletes to better understand the dynamics of their body specific to obtaining maximum performance with the correct technique, I strongly encourage parents to enroll their child in the Central New York Speed Training program. The CNY Speed Training program is much more than improving the speed of an athlete, as the instructors focus on body mechanics, physics, stretching exercises, muscle memory and techniques in an effort to also reduce the risk of lower body injuries.
Adding a component such as speed training is critical to the athletic development of any athlete; however, the health and safety of an athlete is of primary importance. CNY Speed Training combines improving a player’s speed and instructing proper techniques which together lead to not only improved performance, but improved player safety by reducing the risk of injuries. Although I have found the above to be true with athletes in general, it is especially true for female athletes as they are prone to more knee injuries compared to male athletes.
CNY Speed Training has been a tremendous asset in the physical development of my daughter. I am pleased that my daughters will train with Dennis and Frank for many years to come as teaching them the proper running techniques is critical in reducing the risk of an injury and improving their overall athletic performance.

If you have the need to improve speed then CNY Speed Training is the place for YOU!
Last summer, I experienced my first college softball combine. I thought that I was pretty quick until I got there and I was just average. It was shortly after that when I was lucky that Dennis Dewane saw me play at a local softball game and approached me about my running. I started training with him and I could feel a huge difference in my body, my form and my speed definitely improved.
In November, I was invited to, the USA Elite Combine in Connecticut; my home to first base time was 2.95 and one of the top 5 runners. That was a great feeling! But then, it just kept getting better…On January 3, 2010, I was invited to the TNT Combine in Hatfield, Pa where my time from home to first base was 2.88, I came in first in the 2012 graduating year and also in the top 10 overall. Being able to run to first in under 3.0 is huge to me and everyone knows that in a game, it’s the difference in being “safe” or “out”..or a game win or game loss!
Dennis has helped me become an over all better athlete! I can jump higher, explode left or right to catch the game winning line drive, and I run the bases a lot faster and smoother. I can change directions quickly when I lead off from first or take off quicker when I steal. I am so lucky I get to work with Dennis. He has made me twice as good as I was before I trained with him.

I am a 20 year old female athlete who plays Lacrosse for Utica College. The CNY Speed Training class helped me tremendously. I noticed a change in my speed after one class, and I was able to have a faster first step. The classes are also extremely fun. I am not a fan of workout classes that leave you bored, or running for the door, but this class flew by and I can’t believe how tired I was after. It’s a workout that you can tell works. I can’t wait to take another class.

Just wanted to say thanks for everything you and Frank did for Ashley. She had a great opening week of softball and the coach was impressed with her increased speed. There is a noticeable difference in her quickness. Thanks again.
